A historical drama covering Alma Mahler´s affair with Walter Gropius and Gustav Mahler´s ensuing psychoanalisis sessions with Sigmund Freud.

This film was produced for the Centennial Anniversary of Mahler's death.  Mahler opens a letter by mistake, or maybe deliberately.  The content, full of passionate love, was addressed to his wife Alma Schindler. Only one person in Vienna could help Mahler: Sigmund Freud.
