Description
Summer in February based on the novel by Jonathan Smith (who also wrote the filmscript) is now on general release. The film was shot on location around Penzance, with the actors & crew based at The Cove, Lamorna.
The film stars Dan Stephens, Dominic Cooper & Emily Browning & centres on Lamorna’s artistic community on the eve of the first world war.
Amanda Maisey from The Cove joined Graham Fawcett's The Big Blue, The Arts of Cornwall course. She kindly took - Katherine Gonzalez, Dan Llewellyn Hall and David Bachmann on a guided tour of The Cove - which was so closely connected to a number of artists featured in Graham's lectures and used in the film 'Summer in February'.
