Arts Circle associates Katherine Gonzalez and Richard Twose were lucky enough to attend two additional Master of Photography events complementing the William Eggleston 'Portraits' Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. These included the pioneering photographer - William Eggleston in conversation with The Guardian's photography critic, Sean O'Hagan and Philip Prodger, curator of the show.
"Eggleston's palette is unmistakable, vivid, sumptuous and evocative... he photographs democratically, which is to say, he gives even the smallest observations equal weight" Philip Prodger
"I am at war with the obvious" William Eggleston
Masters of Photography events supported by The Bern Schwartz Family Foundation in memory of phographer Bern Schwartz.
